I still don’t really “get” this whole Twitter thing, but apparently some people like to use it. It seems like a somewhat pointless merging of SMS, blogging, emails, and IMs and I have to confess that I just don’t understand. I can’t say I particularly care though. =)

Anyways, that said, Andrew and I have decided to make use of Twitter by documenting the horrible movies that we watch (mostly together) at Rockwood. Feast your eyes upon the ROCKWOOD TWITTER!

  1. They made me start one in China. I frequently forgot it was syndicated to our Web site and Twittered very stupid things which embarrassed me when they appeared on our site.

Invite us next time you watch something awful! Can we do one tomorrow night? Like 9 or so?

  2. I don’t get it either. Some guys live by it at work, but the thing is, I don’t really care what they are eating for lunch at 12:32pm. I don’t really see the point in writing about those things, other than the social aspects I guess. I like blogs because they are sort of like a journal I can later go back to and see things like what my opinions were like back then, etc.

Cool you find a reasonably useful purpose for it though :)

  4. It does make it easier to announce a quick retreat to the restroom than previous company wide emails.
