I updated my Xanga last night. I think it’s creepier this time than last… haha.

Yesterday, Oriana got baptized at ACC. I think she made everyone cry (including myself) when she gave her testimony. Congrats, little sister. =)

So I went to the doctor this morning and found out that the lump in my foot is a ganglion cyst, which is rather harmless. That is good. =)

My company, Bazaarvoice, which is quite awesome, is looking to hire a lot of people. Check out the jobs page and drop me an email if you’re interested. I cannot express how exciting and fun it is to work there. =)

Also, note to others: Shane Claiborne is coming to speak at Vox tomorrow. He wrote Irresistible Revolution which I’ve found to be a pretty challenging and interesting book. He was mentored by Tony Campolo, who came to speak when Liquid was at Red River a while ago.

We’ll also be showing another video from the Invisible Children people. I’m not sure what the title is (might be the same: “Invisible Children?”) but this one is about when they went back a second time.

Got my new 17-40L, but haven’t had the chance to play with it too much.

Went to JM’s concert at Stubb’s last night with a bunch of Vox people. It was pretty cool. I wish I had brought my camera, but I forgot my CF cards at the apartment, so my body and lenses were pretty useless, haha. It would have been a good opportunity to use my 17-40L. Oh well… next time. =)

So last week I decided to trade in my 10-22 for the 17-40L. While not quite as wide, it’s pretty darn close and can fit on both my 5D and Rebel XT. David Zhu asked me to sell him my 10-22, which I instinctively said “no” to. However, after doing some research, I discovered the 17-40L was pretty much the same price as the 10-22 and would give me roughly the same thing on my full-frame 5D, so I went for it.

Also, today, I made my final payment on my Mazda 6. Wheeee! I am looking forward to getting rid of all my debts. There’s about $5k left on the Civic, and then I’ll be done! I am not counting my edu loans, because the interest rate on that is so low, I’m going to string it out for as long as possible, haha.

Okay, time to play with the 17-40L…

I went to a coworker’s wedding with Kathy on Friday and it was one of the best weddings I have attended. Very light-hearted and fun with little/no stress in the air, haha. Here are some shots from it:

Yesterday, we went to see TMNT and it was pretty enjoyable. =) I won’t say much more than that because there are people like Viraj out there that will be pissed if I say that Michelangelo is a party dude. I was debating whether to get chicken strips or pizza and I had changed my mind to chicken strips, but Kathy said “how could you see TMNT and not get pizza?” I then realized she was so right and it was true, I must get pizza. The usual Raging Bull it was. =)

Bazaarvoice will be having an info session with one of our VPs and cofounder. It is tomorrow, March 22nd at 6-7PM in UTC 3.110.

Tonight, my elements group enjoyed wondrous hot pot at Olivia and Stephanie’s. Thank you very much for getting all the food, Stephanie. =) Then we played some fun board games…
